Julia TanIn this very close game that ended in a double overtime, the one touchdown we scored during the game was by Y1 Julia Tan. Without her 20 yard touchdown catch, the game would have been lost, but she brought the score up to 6-6 by the end of the game, which we later brought up to 12-18 after the overtimes. Julia also had 4 tackles, and has been a very consistent flag puller and receiver this season.
Tiffany YuIn the second half of the game, Y2 Tiffany Yu had a game-changing interception, which led to the pivotal touchdown that Julia scored. It gave our team prime field positioning to finish strong and eventually win. She also had a tackle, and although this is her first year on the team, she has become a very important force on defense.

Natasha HaftQuarterback Y1 Natasha Haft was instrumental in the winning score of this game, 19-7. On defense, she had an incredible 4 interceptions, which helped with offensively getting good field positioning. On offense, she had 15 completions with 86 yards, and 2 touchdown passes. Throughout the season she has been a very consistent quarterback and safety.

Sari Klainberg10th grader Sari Klainberg had a great offensive game against Bayside HS. She led the team in receptions, with 5, spanning 47 yards, scoring two touchdowns. On defense she covered one of the top defenders on the other team, with one flag pull.
Jessica Guevara10th grader Jessica Guevara really helped with the end score of 33-0, by not letting any of the other team's offense get past her. She was tied for the most flag pulls, with 5, and has grown greatly as a defensive force this year.

Rachel WilsonY1 Rachel Wilson was extremely important to the final score of 19-0, doing a great job shutting down the leading receiver of Queens HS of Teaching while on defense, along with having a flag pull. She has become a very reliable man-defender, improving greatly with each game, and on offense she is the starting center.
Saniya Ridley10th grader Saniya Ridley was 100% in flag pulls, with 11 pulled and 0 missed, and defensively she also had 3 sacks and 2 tackles for loss. On offense, Saniya ran 59 yards as running back, scored a touchdown on a run all the way down the field, and had 2 receptions. In her first year on the team, she has grown into a key player both on offense an defense, and will only continue to improve.

Louisa SledgeBattling strong winds all day, 10th grader Louisa consistently punted strongly, giving us great field position. In a close game where the wind made it very difficult to run and offense, this was critical for us to win the game (6-0). Louisa is growing into one of the top punters in the city. She also recorded her first sack as rusher in our last game. We look forward to more sacks in the future.

Saniya Ridley10th grader Saniya Ridley had a dominating game against rival, Maspeth, and she rushed for 77 yards with one touchdown. Additionally, she caught 5 passes for 46 yards, for a total of 123 yards from scrimmage.
Lizbeth MoralesY2 Lizbeth has been our most consistent player on both sides of the ball this season. She had a dominating game on defense against Maspeth, shutting down one of their top receivers.
Natasha HaftY1 Natasha Haft has had a great season so far as quarterback, and in this game she was 16/24 for completions. She threw for 123 yards, with 2 touchdowns. She is currently ranked 2nd in the city for completions! Her completion rate is 68%, and she already has 10 touchdown passes this season.
